The new template is good, pretty decent. But don't you think you should've been a good girl asked my permission before posting my candid photographs all over your page? :P :P
From an artistic point of view, though I lack any artistic sense whatsoever, the monkeys huddled to the sides of the window need to move a bit more to the center of the page to attain perfect Feng Shui...or Vastu...whichever you prefer...
I love monkeys! Omg and this particular one is so cutesy, hehe. I like the new layout. It's definitely ODing on the monkeys, but when something is that cute, I think it's okay to over-indulge. Heh. :)

Okay, now not that I was fond of your earlier template but the new one made that an excellent choice...
To start with -
1) its damn too slow in my chrome. With Mozilla it was okay
2) People usually come to read the posts instead of checking the background and awards.. so I suppose text region should be more wide
3) Looking a bit monotonous plus somehow the color contrast is odd.
Want me to be more brutal and harsh ;)
